Introduction to Chapter 2
Purpose:
This section is designed to help you train your mind to focus using simple visual meditations. You’ll be working with four short videos—a candle flame, swimming fish, a flowing waterfall, and a metronome. The goal is to find one that helps you settle your thoughts and focus your attention. You don’t need to do all four; choose the one that feels best to you.
Why It Matters:
Every part of the Evolve Program relies on your ability to focus during meditation. As you move forward, you’ll need to build your meditation space, connect with your spirit guides, and explore deeper spiritual work. None of that is possible if your mind can’t stay centered. These visual meditations give your mind something steady to follow until you can hold that focus with your eyes closed.
How to Use This Section:
Watch the videos and let your eyes rest on the movement or rhythm. When your thoughts wander, simply bring your attention back to what you see. You can start with 30 seconds and gradually work up to the full video. If you already have strong focus and can meditate easily, you can skip this section. But if your mind feels busy or distracted, practice these until you can stay focused without drifting. Over time, you’ll find your thoughts quiet naturally—and that’s when your deeper meditation work truly begins.
